Sexual abuse and human trafficking have become two of the most talked-about issues of our day. It is time to stop talking about the problem and offer authentic healing to survivors of all forms of sexual abuse. “Core Healing from Sexual Abuse: A Journey of Hope” is a day-long workshop offering real hope and healing for survivors of sexual abuse and for anyone who wants to help them.

Of the approximately one in three women and one in five men who experience sexual molestation before age 18, most suffer alone, in silence. Core Healing offers practical steps to address the complex concerns caused by sexual trauma. It shows how survivors can move beyond frozen emotions to experience lasting help and freedom. Each of the workbook’s twelve chapters offers biblical insights, specific goals, and tools for growth. If you or someone you know has experienced any form of sexual abuse, this workshop is for you.

This workshop, for men and women, will provide practical training using the presenter’s workbook, Core Healing from Sexual Abuse. The training is designed for two groups of people: 1) those that have experienced sexual abuse and 2) those who want to help others heal from it. It offers proven training for individuals, pastors, lay counselors and professional counselors.

During the workshop, you will learn how to:

- Recognize five core areas damaged

- Help stabilize those who are re-experiencing trauma of past molestation

- Offer tangible steps to build trust and practical tools to deal with PTSD, anxiety, depression and other ramifications of sexual abuse

- Identify dissociation and understand and apply basic grounding techniques when it occurs

- Help people move out of “victim” thinking to a “creator” paradigm

- Identify the impact of sexual abuse on the stages of psychosocial development

- Integrate Scripture with proven counseling methods by sexual abuse
