Our Pastor

Sam Sutter

Lead Pastor

Rev. Samuel Sutter is the Lead Pastor at BBCC. He is married to Ashley and they have 4 children: Colette (12), Jude (9), Eliza (6), and Luke (4). Pastor Sam is new to BBCC. He has been serving as a lead pastor in Goshen, New York for the past 10 years and has experience as an assistant pastor, youth pastor and worship leader. He is an experienced leader and gifted communicator.

He and his family are excited to embark on this new adventure and see what God has planned for BBCC.

Sam Sutter

ELDERS

John Leavitt

A Floridian by birth, John has lived in Broward and Palm Beach counties most of his life. He came to faith in Christ during college and has been actively involved in local church ministry for over 30 years. He and his wife, Mary Ann, were married in 1981. They have been members of BBCC since 1996. John & Mary Ann have three adult children, all of whom served in some capacity at BBCC while living at home. John has served as an Elder since 1998 and as church Treasurer since 2005. He loves to use his teaching gift to facilitate home groups, lead Bible studies, and occasionally preach on Sunday mornings.

Jeff Silkworth

Jeff and his wife Melanie have been married since 1989 and live in Lake Worth, Florida. They have two young adult children, Thomas and Emily. The family relocated to South Florida from Michigan in 1998. He has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. Jeff is currently employed in a private lending group at a large commercial bank. The family has been part of Boynton Community Church’s since 1999. Jeff was ordained as an Elder in 2005, and he has served the in the areas of teaching, leading small groups, and the development and construction of BBCC’s new building. In his spare time, he can be found working on a building project around the house, following the MSU Spartans, golfing, or spending time with his family and friends.

Steve Whitcomb

Steve has been married to his wife Mary for over 35 years and they have two adult children, Christopher and Thomas. Steve earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in 1979 and a Masters of Divinity degree from The Reformed Theological Seminary in 2007. Currently Steve and Mary own and operate a durable medical equipment company in Boynton Beach. Steve has been a part of BBCC since its inception and has been involved in many different areas of service over the years. He served as Middle School Youth Pastor from 2002-2006, volunteered in children’s ministry, served on the Sunday morning set up and tear down crew for 20+ years, and enjoys greeting at the front door of the sanctuary whenever possible. Steve was ordained an elder at BBCC in November 2011.

DEACONS

Tim McGraw

Tim and his wife, Juanita, have been married for over 30 years and have been members of BBCC since 2011. Together they raised and homeschooled three sons, all of whom entered military service. Tim graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Vocational Rehabilitation and works as a financial advisor. He enjoys playing guitar and singing Country music in his time off.

Tracy Orosz

Tracy and his wife Stacey have lived in Florida since 2013; they currently reside in Boynton Beach with their adult son, Zayne, and three dogs. Tracy is originally from Ohio, but was in the United States Air Force for 10 years and has called numerous places home. Tracy was a Biomedical Equipment Repair Technician for 25 years but is now retired and working towards a Master’s Degree in Divinity with a concentration in Community Transformation and Chaplaincy at Palm Beach Atlantic University to better serve the veteran community in a ministerial capacity. Tracy and Stacey found their spiritual home at BBCC in 2017, and he has since felt a calling to serve both within the church and with Samaritan’s Purse.

Robert Vermilyea

Bob and his wife Karen have been married since 1998 and live in Lake Worth.  They have one daughter, Alexis. Bob, originally from Levittown NY, moved to Florida in 1985 where he continued his work in the construction business over the last 40 years. They have been attending BBCC since early 2004 and became members of the church in 2006. Both Bob and  Karen have served in the church doing various projects, filling in whenever needed, and volunteering in check-in for Children’s Ministry. Alexis served many years helping at Awana Club. In his spare time, Bob enjoys fishing, playing guitar, singing, and spending time with family and friends.

Sal Castiglia

Sal and his wife Diana were college sweethearts who have been married for 47 years. They have been blessed with two children, Noelle and Michael, and four grandchildren. Sal is a retired Operations Manager with the Ford Motor Company, and Diana is a retired Special Education teacher.They have attended Boynton Beach Community for the past eight years,and Sal has been the Safety and Security Team leader for seven years.

Robert Martin

Rob and his wife Lisa have been married for 25 years. They started attending BBCC in 2012, right after the birth of their son, Trey. They have four amazing adult  daughters who are all married to equally amazing young men. Rob graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. He and Lisa both love using their work as a form of ministry.Outside of work, their family members are water and outdoor enthusiasts.

Amanda Carney

Youth Leader/Office Administrator

Amanda was raised in Boynton Beach and began to attend BBCC at the age of 3. Growing up she enjoyed being a part of the children's and youth ministry, especially serving at VBS every summer. In December of 2023, Amanda earned her bachelor's degree in marketing from Lynn University. During college, she worked at a Christian summer camp where she felt the call to ministry on her life. At that camp, she taught middle and high school students about the love of Jesus. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, reading, playing volleyball, spending time with family, and immersing herself in nature.

Nicole Consiglio

Awana Team Leader

Nicole has been a lifelong resident in Wallingford, Connecticut prior to her move to Florida in late 2016. While in Connecticut she worked for 18 years as a Workforce Health Consultant at OneDigital and 7 years as the Director of Social Services at Ridgeview Healthcare Center. She has 12 years of experience teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten & 2nd grade church school at First Congregational Church of Wallingford, Connecticut. She moved from Connecticut with her husband, Michael and her adult daughter, Giana. She has another daughter, Danielle, and granddaughter, Briella, who still live in Connecticut. Nicole likes to be active on a regular basis and enjoys nature walks, biking, swimming, dancing, and gardening. She continues to evolve her faith by reading scripture, attending church at BBCC, and listening to God’s word through Daily Hope podcasts.

Jeff Dunn

Worship Leader

Jeff Dunn is a singer/songwriter and guitarist and has served on several worship teams in local churches for the past 15 years. He studied Music Theory at Cleveland State Community college in his hometown of Cleveland, Tennessee. Jeff joined our staff in November of 2014. He is married to Margarita and together they have 2 adult children and an 8 year old daughter.

Aysha Pinnock

Finance and Facilities

Aysha Pinnock was born in Kingston, Jamaica. Relocated to Miami Florida with her mother and older brother at the age of 13. Spent most of her school years in Florida before moving to Georgia to complete high school and attend college. As a graduate of Georgia State University in 2005, she relocated to several states before the beaches and warm weather pulled her back to settle in Florida in 2010. She is married to a wonderful husband, Jason, and mother of 5 amazing children who continue to teach her life lessons every day. BBCC has played a major role in her spiritual growth over the past 8 years, and she continues to seek ways to give back to her church and community.
