Godly goals are based on God’s purposes for us. Read 1 Samuel 16:1-13. The prophet Samuel obeys God’s instructions and anoints David as the next King of Israel. Before he fought Goliath, David had already been anointed as the next king and his goal to kill Goliath was a part of God’s greater purpose for his life. As you set goals for your life, each goal must be consistent with God’s purposes for your life. How does this principle apply to your goals? How does it apply to our goal at BBCC to build additional ministry space and retire our debt?
