What Kind of Father is God?

God is a Father who is close to His children. In the person of Jesus Christ, God came close by entering our world. In much the same way, Fathers express love by entering the world of their children. Why is this important? Because the world of your child is different than your world. Dad, you may need to enter the world of ballet or baton twirling, the world of legos or video games. Ask God to help you express love to the people He has placed in your life by being willing to enter and understand their world.
